Microsoft’s share of the search engine market has grown from 8.9% to 9.3% since July 2009 in the US.

News affected shares for Google and Bing.

In the UK searches on Bing increased by 5% while Google searches were down by 1.7%.

The news is worth listening to, however Google is still far ahead with over 65% of the market, and with it’s new search engine, nicknamed ‘Caffeine’ still yet to be released, it seems they are determined to hold onto their share.
